Addressing the struggle of being southern Sudanese in the former Sudan (pre- 2011)
I am still on this journey today, but this poem reflects my struggle to overcome the obstacles I face when trying to reconnect with my violin.
Coming to a place where I appreciate myself as a whole person, not elements of who I am, but all of me. I hope you too can come to that place :-)
